The company CeGi GmbH operates the GEOcatalog, a web-based meta-information system, in which meta-information for spatial data and geoservices is managed. This allows providers of spatial data and geoservices to make increased use of the CeGi GEOcatalog's search-engine function to alert potential customers to their geo-resources. CeGi GmbH pre-processes the metadata accordingly and transfers it to the CeGi GEOcatalog.
Searching for services, applications, or data: The quick or the expert search options enable efficient and effective requests. Furthermore you can use the thematic search option browse by theme. Using GEOcatalog is possible without any installation.
con terra's mapClient 2.0 enables the visualization of web services.
If you would like to get information using the Geocatalog, please read the online help system. All search functions will be declared.
The metadata is monitored by the CeGi GmbH. This assures quality and consistency of the information. Providers will not have work with modifications or changes because CeGi GmbH executes these jobs.
